As of October 30th, 2016, Manufacturing and Technology Centre’s (MTC) ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management Systems) Intertek ISO certifications will be extended for another 2 years (MTC obtained official Intertek certification in 2010).
As of August 21st, 2016, MTC is proud to announce we have added a third ISO certification, ISO 13485:2003. ISO 13485:2003 is an internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system specific to the medical devices industry and is relied upon by Health Canada.
These certifications apply to MTC Whitby’s corporate and operations divisions. The MTC Indiana location continues to maintain compliance with the ISO 9001 & 14001 international quality/environmental systems standard, upon which MTC Whitby’s Quality Management System & Environmental Management System is based.
