Environmental Policy at MTC:
As a responsible corporate citizen, MTC, an electronic product service company is committed to practicing sustainable operations, balancing the pursuit of economic growth with protection of the environment. This fundamental activity will help to strengthen and to sensitize our total organization, and foster continued responsible growth.
To this end MTC will:
- Meet or exceed all applicable legislation and regulations, customer requirements and codes to which it subscribes.
- Identify its significant and/or other environmental aspects and commit to reducing their environmental impact where technically and financially feasible through an Environmental Management System.
- Ensure the environmental management system contains a commitment to continuous improvement based on current ecological thinking and technological options within its financial feasibility.
- Commit itself where possible to the reduction of pollution from emissions to air, discharges to water, noise levels, contamination of land and depletion of natural resources.
- Provide a framework for the setting and reviewing of its environmental objectives and targets, through regular meetings of its working group, internal audits and management reviews.
- Ensure the environmental policy is contained within the environmental manual, and implemented as the core of the environmental system that is communicated to all employees. This policy is also made available to the public.
This policy is key to the monitoring, review and potential improvement of MTC’s environmental performance. MTC will also:
- Work in partnership with customers and suppliers to reduce negative environmental impacts and promote positive environmental principles.
Be committed towards the conservation of natural resources via the minimum consumption of energy, minimization of waste and encouraging the use of renewable resources.
